How long does a felony stay on your record?

The phone line is always busy. There does not seem to be a functioning web site for the jail. They should have the actual visitor policy here so we know when we can visit. I have to get a sitter and go see my cousin. I can't get through on the phone and can't find an official website. How backward of Bexar County not to have one. Posting helpful information online would free up phone lines.
